Just purchased this unit at Sam's for 8. Set up was pretty easy-->I do recommend wired connectivity for streaming movies, etc. though. Just my preference. Pic & sound are great. So far the only disapointment has been the fact that there are no apps for Pandora or Facebook, although the ads for this unit definitely include a listing for Pandora as an app & the Facebook logo is prominently shown as well. If you read the fine print you'll see that Facebook is one of "many more great Apps to come". Silly me, just because it shows up on all the marketing (even the product box), I should have known it was coming soon & not here yet. Just an FYI Vizio, sneaky marketing pisses me off! I have an email in to Vizio support to try to find out why the Pandora App is not showing & will post their reply as soon as I get one. I suspect that it has something to do with Rhapsody--which is a "featured App". Rhapsody costs a minimum of .99 per month for their streaming music while Pandora still has a free version. Grr... At any rate, there are lots of great features with this unit & as I explore them I will update this review. Facebook & Pandora are definitely not a deal-breaker for me, but I was looking forward to being able to use them on this unit along with the other Apps. Bottom line? The jury is out for now until I have a bit more experience with this product. Till then my advice is don't buy it for the Facebook or Pandora app yet! Buy it for the great pic, pretty good sound, & any of the other Apps that you use on a regular basis.
Update: got this reply back from tech support in less than one hour:
"This all depends on when you got the TV and what version of firmware you have. Your TV does automatically update the firmware when you are connected the Internet, but it does sometimes take up to 2 weeks as updates to these units go by serial number."
Turned it on & voila! Like magic, the machine went through some updates (18 of them)Pandora & Facebook apps are showing up as new apps.

I can't believe how much better this looks than my Panasonic 42" plasma. The 240Hz makes all the difference in the world and the internet apps are actually not as cheasy as I thought they would be. Awesome TV!

It's been almost two month. I could kick myself. there's snow, and flickering lights across the top line of the screen on a few channels. I think the tv is a dud. I should have got the Samsung.
Wish me good luch fighting this with Vizio.....
