Initially I was a bit apprehensive when buying this TV due to never having heard of the brand, but the price paid was well worth the gamble. If there are no long term problems I will be completely happy. The only negative I have is that the remote my satellite service supplies cannot be programmed to control the TV receiver. What the heck!

Good buy for the money. One problem you may have is that there is no code for your cable remote. The company could only suggest that you buy a learning universal remote.
Another annoyance is that the inputs are placed vertically and the labels placed horizontally. Some cables like the RCA slip right off the female input and you have to squeeze the male jack to get it to stay on. This was unforeseeable on the part of the engineers.
Also, I'm new to LCD's but it seems that there is a lot of heat radiation given off from the screen--this may be normal--I just don't know.
Otherwise,and for what I paid for it, I'm OK with the product.
